Overview of the .NET Framework

Course Description:

This course will examine the driving forces behind the development of the .NET framework and how Microsoft has realized its goal of creating applications that are able to use a blend of .NET compliant languages.

Throughout this one day seminar, you will learn about how the .NET framework works and what the framework encompasses. You will also familiarize with Visual Studio .NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET and the roles they play in the development of applications.

The instructor for this course will present an application that combines the use of C#, VB.NET and ADO.NET. What a great way to introduce you to the flexibility and power offered by the .NET framework!

If you are considering the .NET Framework and would like to gain greater understanding of the framework as a part of your decision making process, this course is for you.

It is also a great course for managers who want to understand the framework yet do not need to code it.

This course is not needed for those planning to take our Introduction to C# Programming or our Introduction to VB.NET Programming courses.
